About Dr. Hesham Safwat

Holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration, an MBA from the United States, a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pathology, and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from Cairo University.
He possesses extensive executive and managerial experience in the education sector (graduate — Master’s & Ph.D.), healthcare, and medical laboratories. He has held senior leadership positions such as General Manager at Pharma Stores, Gulfmed Egypt, and National Scientific Co., and Regional Director for the Middle East at the international laboratory devices company Kendro, through which he led operational and commercial transformations yielding exceptional growth rates exceeding 400 % in some periods.
He currently serves as Academic Director at IG Group in the UAE and Egypt, and has a distinguished academic record encompassing more than 5,000 teaching hours and supervision of over 600 Master’s and Ph.D. theses in business management, giving him deep expertise in academic and methodological evaluation of research content.
His career combines academic and managerial experience, and the ability to design and implement business strategies and institutional transformation, which qualifies him with distinction to review and evaluate content related to digital transformation, corporate strategies, and transformational management of companies.
